I have just been introduced to this new fashion store online called www.dressshop.in . Meet my newest white with gold and perl sequence gauze dress courtesy  DressShop . It's the softest fabric and feels lovely when worn .The fit is just right .It's perfect for coffee in the evening without the jacket and spice it up a little more for say a lovely dinner later at night. Very versatile could be worn in so many ways . Will soon try and do more looks with this.

FireFlies

I was quite sad thinking my sweaters and jackets will never see the real world till i got back to Bangalore but I'm quite glad that I can at-least use them during late evenings and early mornings here as it's getting pretty cold . However I was told Bangalore is kinda freezing and how I miss it . I was supposed to go there for the Fireflies music festival that's going to be happening on the 26th of November but after NH7 Weekender In Pune I don't have the energy for it . For all of you In Bangalore it's a must attend though . Look up for the fireflies ashram on google for more information 

P.S No shoes allowed inside considering it's a jain temple so that explains the minus the shoes part in the pictures 

Osho-D

My first outdoor shoot in Pune . I don't know why I haven't done this already . These were clicked by Bruno on the Osho ashram road until we were told otherwise . I did have a lot of fun doing this and he really helped me shed some inhibitions .

P.S wearing a linen shirt from Fab India and I must say it's a total must buy looks really smart and can be in 10 different ways at-least .

Quirky

Have you met Ms Quirky ! my first purchase in Pune .I read about this brand called Quirk Box and how it was the brain child of Jayesh Sachdeva a designer originally hailing from Pune . Wrote to them asking where I can score these and went hunting . They are incredible and go with half my wardrobe .You'll be seeing a lot of this jacket for a while.

P.S Leaving to Bangalore tomorrow and I'am super excited since I have a nice road trip for 5 days planned with  brother dearest .

And Then I go And Spoil It All

Just got from an impromptu trip from Mumbai . The sad news is I lost all the pictures I took of me ,people ,random people/things .(Read) a stupid Picassa mistake.I know this will me make sad in the later part of my morning coz right now I'm too tired to be bothered .So until I find time to click new pictures which would only be next week end ,I've decided to dig into my Singapore archives as there were so many pictures to be posted and stories to be told.

Wrapped in Gold

One of my favorite jackets from Mango , Quite sadly it's been trapped somewhere at the back of my closet in Bangalore  ,Can it get a little colder already my jackets would love to breathe once in a while . 

A whole bunch of readers have been mailing for quite sometime now asking me to do some how to wear basic elements in your closet kinda posts ,been putting it for a while now , so here is what i'am gona do starting from next post on ,will do a series on re-usability as in how a basic pieces  can be worn in different ways .  So people stop threatening  me  :-)

And we are Back

It's been over a month and it seems the blog managed to survive.Now that i'am back to having all the time in the world posts hopefully shouldn't be sporadic anymore .

Cape-Dress

In the past year I've realized that a camera which is remotely fancy looking can make people act like absolute nut cases in front of you since for some reason the person holding it according to most  folks is almost always somebody who can make you famous , splash your face across front pages of magazines and papers . Something similar happened when we went to click some pictures at this Dhobhi Ghat place . Initially they wouldn't let us click pictures coz they were scared we would reveal the top secret ingredient being used here while washing clothes or something like that but within minutes it changed (read a glimpse of my camera) So basically I had them convinced that there 15 mins of fame was starring right at them .The price that had to be paid was i had click pictures of everybody at this place washing clothes/themselves their kids, aunties uncles ,family portraits .After all the madness ended i was finally happy to indulge in some narcissistic behavior.

What I wore- Bangalore Fashion Week

 Fashion Week finally happened for me was quite fun , went there not knowing what to expect.Reached by around 5 in the evening . Anuradha Paul ,  Neeru's , Pam and Arch the last and one of the best shows Neeta Lulla was yet to happen. Got to watch the shows after which did some post show analysis on Radio Indigo.Apart from meeting some incredible people got to chit chat with some super talented new designers in the exhibition area.All of that coming up soon here .

Look what i found

Pushkar is one of the most prettiest town ,every twist and turn you take could amount to a pretty scene in a postcard . However all you can do is be amazed by the by-lanes and the shops situated in most bizarre places , since store owners talk only in $ .After aimlessly walking around for almost 3 hours,getting lost , meeting interesting people from all over the world. (meet people from countries i didn't even know existed) I realized it's so much easier to buy "intoxicating smoke" rather than regular girlie shopping .

DIY-Rick Owens Inspired Wrap

After many un-successfully attempts i finally created my very own Rick Owens inspired wrap . I couldn't have been more happier with the results .I had been going through some of his asymmetrical designs in awe  and wondering what in the world should i do to own one of these . Thats when my brother told me , the only solution would be to take some sewing classes and it has paid of pretty well.

Dhothi In Trousers

If there is one place i want to bugler then it's definitely got to be a pet store and set all those  precious little ones free specially the birds .The in-humane sight of humans watching birds inside a cage and going "aww so cute" , The next person i catch saying that will be forced inside the cage and i will go " Aww so cute ".

I know this is absolutely misplaced here in this blog,but there is this new pet store thats opened in the locality and i find the sight so cruel . Specially when i see parents pointing at the animals in the cage and go "oh look at them aren't they cute " instead of telling them thats its cruel to be treating animals like that . 

As horrible as this may sound please wack the first kid you see chucking a stone at the friendly neighborhood dog .
