Suspended Love

Can never get enough of suspenders , with skirts , shorts and suspenders in it's original form.Absolutely heart them. Wearing it with a self made polka dot shirt .The fabric I found in a scarp market and it's better than some famous brands I've bought from .Went back there looking for more but didn't find them again.Pointers for next time - buy in bulk.

Tulle Tulle

Skirts have always been something I've absolutely loved ,however most of what I like is either made by some brand that has decided not to launch itself in India or in some online store, buying online isn't an option anymore for me since I live alone and collecting postage will be on hell of a co-ordination act. So here's presenting my were own self designed ,hand stitched by a not so trustworthy tailor (he didn't look the part) but i  must say the end result was very very impressive . This will also be available on the  blog as soon as the cob webs in my blog shop has been cleared :-) . 

ClarkeQuay

One of my favorite places in Singapore without a debate has to be Clarke Quay /Boat Quay .Full of life and a place to be if your a food lover like me .Name any cuisine and it's on the stretch with an awesome view of the river on one side to the financial hub buildings on the other and to it add some gigantic vintage hotels . Have been here every single night exploring dinner options .Now that I've to get ready in terms of packing since my 10 day vacation is coming to an end tomorrow ,I'am already missing the place and all the hullabaloo.

Only +VeroModa

The first thing i did on the first day of my holiday in Bangalore was raid the Vero-Moda ,Only store in Indranagar .The first floor houses Only and the the second floor has Vero-Moda. This was on my to-do list for the longest time . The brand sure has some incredible pieces .Statutory warning : your bound to be super confused on what to pick up ,Should have al-least an hour to spare at the store coz it's gona take a lot of effort to decide on what to buy.

I had the lovely opportunity of picking  up 2 incredible tops which can be easily transformed to get the  "work to Bar" look.Along with  a fascinating  floral print leggings of-course keeping the summer trend in Mind . Wasn't an easy choice to make since i wanted to keep almost everything i  saw in the store . However what caught my fancy was the accessories part which ranged from sunglasses to pretty sling bags to scarfs and of-course pretty-pretty boxers .So i have pretty much sketched a weekend plan for you guys :-)

p.p.s : There are 2 stores in Bangalore one on Commercial street and the other in Indranagar.

Maxi Skirt

 I'am missing some of my favorite people in the world and my lovelies -doggies like crazy . Apart from that i miss Bangalore coz it lets me  wear red/violet wayfarers , long maxi skirts and some crazy shoes, walk around all over town without being starred at like some crazy person from Uganda , oh yes people here keep asking me if thats where I'am from ,now i just nod and say yeah yeah thats right . Initially i thought it was a made up place apparently not .So much about the all the updates  , will have to get back to some non-consensual study material reading .So long .

Mirrors

If i had to come up with one word that  described the feeling in my head off late ,rather the past month i would say "snooze" . Perpetually sleepy and hungry .I watched 2 movies back to back this weekend while in the same state of mind , movies make more sense that way you know. One of them was this Persian feature film called Mirror ,absolutely loved it .The movie stops half way when this little girl who is the main lead refuses to act anymore just coz she doesn't feel like it however  the movie continues as the producers decide to secretly film her after she leaves the set and thinks she's one her own. Absolute drama queen she turns out to be .It's supreme and a must watch

Cinnamon

 I think my " i'am in love with Pune" stint is kinda old news now, latest is i'am not sure anymore . Somebody just told me today that temperatures here, in summer reaches around 40 C. Which means a lot of cranky days ahead of me . However found a store which retails filter coffee powder how cool is that now ,ummm so may be it won't be so bad after-all 

P.S Am I boring you'll already with these shoes ?? well ,last post with them for at-least 2 months since i didn't pack them . However up next will feature the store i got them from . So may be you can rush there and buy something already and Hmmm send something over maybe ???

VO@Pune

Going away sure seems to be fun when friends shower you with gifts, and throw awesome parties and take you on a vacation just to say good bye. Would have gone away more often .I'm just bummed i won't have my awesome friends to pamper me in Pune . People who promised me about the Pune trip better make it here soonish.

P.S First day in Pune and I'm quite liking it , Koregaon Park my current host is such a pretty place, just realized Forbes , Tata's and Thackrey's are my neighbours cannot wait to stalk them already .

and for all those of who mailed me so sweetly about how Pune has such a Bangalore Vibe i totally agree.

Dhothi & Suspenders

A dated picture of my Dhothi&Suspenders was for some reason in hiding. Must be at-least a couple of months old.Going through some old pictures reminds me of all the stories i have lived through the blog, every single post that has had me in the middle of the road clicking pictures has a story behind it. Taking pictures with mum or 2 of my closest friends is something I'm going to terribly miss while in Pune . 

During this particular shoot i was so sure i would be eaten up by the mud beneath, it was monstrous then got followed by some creeps on the bike and when we decided to run away our vehicle got stuck in the all the slush. So that was that for the day.

Maxi Skirt

Maxi skirts and "The Beach" looked like such an ideal combination in my head.Swooshing around in a long chiffon maxi skirt all day long on the sands  was so scenic in the video i created inside my head.However its"Clothed Much" according to Gokarna standards was something i soon realized, did it anyways and lived out my dream as dramatic as it may sound .

Lady In Black

I realized sometime in the afternoon that i missed my blogs first Birthday. Was quiet surprised that i did last a whole year. I think it's finally that time of the year i had a giveaway. Putting together some goodies in a bag . So stay tuned a lovely bag of assorted things can be yours -:)

Gafas De Sol

One of the first words i learnt in Spanish was sunglasses- Gafas De Sol probably because it's one of my all time favorite accessory.I can confidently say it triumphs my love for shoes as well . For whatever reasons it's highly underrated in a tropical country like ours.

The right pair enhances the shape of the face, so before heading out to buy a pair it's a good idea to determine  face shape

Oval face looks best in a pair slightly angled over the frame as the cheeks are emphasized. I personally think it's people with Oval shaped face who can be carefree while buying a pair,due to symmetry of the face almost everything looks good.

 Oblong shaped faces, where the forehead, cheeks, jaw are roughly of the same width. It's best to choose a pair that shortens the length and gives an impression of width to the face . Round or square shaped ones are best suited.

Round shaped faces (cheeks are the widest) It's ideal to buy a pair that gives an illusion of length. Angular designs or double brow is best suited , aviators works best .

Square/Rectangular shaped faces look best in a pair with curved edges like classic ovals, rounded frames,cat eye sunglasses works well.

If triangle is the shape broad forehead and narrow Jaw line can be easily balanced with a pair with rimless bottoms or aviators would to just fine.

So how many pairs do you plan on buying during all the sale hullabaloo ?
