My first outdoor shoot in Pune . I don't know why I haven't done this already . These were clicked by Bruno on the Osho ashram road until we were told otherwise . I did have a lot of fun doing this and he really helped me shed some inhibitions .

Jean Dress

I lived all my life in Bangalore ,then no fashion bloggers event happened there , now that i moved to Pune i have one new invite every week to experience something super cool , most of the invites very kindly ask if i want to attend it in Bangalore or in Mumbai .Next time Pune maybe :) However I'am planning to visit Mumbai over the week end to attend a couple of interesting events and meet a whole bunch of people ,really hoping my plan isn't jinxed this time

If i had to come up with one word that  described the feeling in my head off late ,rather the past month i would say "snooze" . Perpetually sleepy and hungry .I watched 2 movies back to back this weekend while in the same state of mind , movies make more sense that way you know. One of them was this Persian feature film called Mirror ,absolutely loved it .The movie stops half way when this little girl who is the main lead refuses to act anymore just coz she doesn't feel like it however  the movie continues as the producers decide to secretly film her after she leaves the set and thinks she's one her own. Absolute drama queen she turns out to be .It's supreme and a must watch

 I think my " i'am in love with Pune" stint is kinda old news now, latest is i'am not sure anymore . Somebody just told me today that temperatures here, in summer reaches around 40 C. Which means a lot of cranky days ahead of me . However found a store which retails filter coffee powder how cool is that now ,ummm so may be it won't be so bad after-all 

P.S Am I boring you'll already with these shoes ?? well ,last post with them for at-least 2 months since i didn't pack them . However up next will feature the store i got them from . So may be you can rush there and buy something already and Hmmm send something over maybe ???

Suspending Love

VIntage OBsession is in the midst of packing it's trunk to move to Pune temporarily(Sadly and ironically not for a vacation coz thats the only reason I've ever left Bangalore) think for about 3 months ,hopefully not more. It's so difficult to pack your entire world and that too limit the baggage to just about 20 KG.I'am thinking of sweet talking some close friends and family into travelling with me so i don't have to decide on which of my favorite shoes need not adorn the streets of Pune.

In other news I've been making tons of new clothes for myself since i cannot make any for another 3 months . It's kind of an addiction of late. Maxi dresses to tops to more Maxi  skirts , so much waiting to be posted here

Maxi Skirt

Maxi skirts and "The Beach" looked like such an ideal combination in my head.Swooshing around in a long chiffon maxi skirt all day long on the sands  was so scenic in the video i created inside my head.However its"Clothed Much" according to Gokarna standards was something i soon realized, did it anyways and lived out my dream as dramatic as it may sound .

The D&G lace shirt was something i had been lusting for a while. After innumerable failed attempts on E-Bay to score the original. I decided to make one for myself . Now we are inseparable,have been living in them ever since.

Balloons in My Skirt

This is the 101 Th post . Getting old business is pretty depressing , my blog and me both. Some divine intervention was necessary ,serious questions needed to be  answered. Or i don't know if this is just the effect of Eat Pray Love the book i finally finished  after a prolonged procrastination .

There is a small history behind this Balloon Skirt .The designer who sold this to me says this was one of the first pieces he ever  made while starting out .He is a grand old man now ,so is the skirt i'm guessing .

Along Came A Jean-Y

My association with bangs go way back to the 3rd grade . My mother spoke me into it back then .She used to cut my hair for the longest period .As i grew up i insisted on visiting those fancy hence we come with a heavy price tag salons . 2 weeks ago i went into this reputed salon just for some bangs ,however walked out looking like Alpha Alpha from The Little Rascals oh and guess what it  looks good only on him , yeah i didn't know that already .May be i should have just stuck to my mom . I realized i din't  understand my hairdresser and he didn't  get  me .So now i need at least 20 minutes with the unruly bangs and bazillion bobby pins.  .

Trend Alert: Denims and Khaki

Denims are back like never before .They have invaded closets in all forms. Bags, shirts rompers , Jumpers, Jodhpur style,shoes,Belts,suspenders.The omni present jeans. You name it and its available . I couldn't help but be a bit carried away .Have stacked up about 4 different types of jean shirts,Now i'm at logger heads about how to style them differently .In the previous post you saw how i wore one of the shirts.

When i saw these men in "The Sartorialist"I knew what i would do with my dark blue denim shirt.Though Khaki and denims seems like a killer idea I decided to wear mine with cream cotton slacks.
