Have you met Ms Quirky ! my first purchase in Pune .I read about this brand called Quirk Box and how it was the brain child of Jayesh Sachdeva a designer originally hailing from Pune . Wrote to them asking where I can score these and went hunting . They are incredible and go with half my wardrobe .You'll be seeing a lot of this jacket for a while.

P.S Leaving to Bangalore tomorrow and I'am super excited since I have a nice road trip for 5 days planned with  brother dearest .

Vero+Moda

I discovered Vero Moda about 4 - 5 months ago when they sent across some gift vouchers , until then all plans to make a trip to the store had somehow been futile .However  I'm a regular there these days , check there collection every time i pass by a store or see something new and interesting on there facebook page . If you guys haven't discovered Vero Moda yet make a trip quickly :)

Meet my newest lovely .The Mango dress I scored  a while ago i have worn this so many times surprisingly I have just one set of pictures.It's one of the softest fabric feels so snugly .

Last year was an incredible year with amazing blogging experience,so much support from readers,media everybody .Thank you guys for all the support and raising a toast for more this year.

Convertible Bag

I'm back in Bangalore finally after an awesome time . I've so many pictures to share with you guys from the amazing people and places i meet and saw.

However the sad part part of the trip was had to say RIP to 2 of my favorite shoes but found an amazing bag which can be worn as a bag or doubled as a belt . I quite liked the ending

A friend i was with suggested we click pictures with the traffic cop,however after we clicked some pics with him for whatever reasons he thought all camera's work like Polaroids ,after painfully explaining to him that i cannot immediately give me a picture , he was after our life's to know when and  how we intend to deliver his picture to him , now who was to tell him , no such intentions were harboured !! After making him believe that if he stuck around for a little while longer in the same place we would get his picture ,we scooted. All this happened right outside Hard Rock Cafe i'm sure a bunch of people had a good time looking at all the drama .

There is this fabric shop i regularly go to , happened to spot something which looks exactly like one of those Manish Arora prints , i was so excited but then to my disappointment somebody had already paid an advance on that particular piece , was so close to pulling off an  Ocean's Eleven ,but for my mom who was standing right next to me with a philosophy book in hand . Sigh !

This is one of the paragraphs from a favorite song of mine "Some where over the rainbow" .I think this should  be the new world peace song .

Street Style: Of Crisp Shirts and Bright Shoes

I had just finished an animated conversation about shoes when i noticed Praveen . There was his bright green and yellow shoes staring right at me from across the table.  I normally don't come across a lot of guys who are comfortable wearing colors and pulling it off pretty well . I've always wondered what stories do shoes tell. Is there a way of telling your thought for the day/mood based on the shoes .Basically trying to dish out a Cinderella story lost in the mundane-ness of everyday life

This is exactly what i asked Praveen , i went up to him and narrated a whole paragraph trying to act all intellectual and as somebody who was trying to figure out the complexity behind SHOES. I had been planning on writing a series about shoes where i try to figure out what someone's up to based on Footwear and if it meant something in the context of that particular day also if there is a story behind picking out a particular pair of shoes before heading out .

I was expecting an equally long paragraph as an answer but He had the most simplest explanation, his brother wore the shoes he was planning on wearing hence he decided to wear his Puma also because he likes the bright colors in them (Extremely Impressive) 

While in the middle of a conversation ( very patiently answered all my questions ) discovered that he is a professional model/actor also, was one of the contestants on Truth Love Cash on Channel V , lent his face to a lot of commercials (Namely Appy Fizz , Vysya Bank,frooti, KFC ,Phillips and a lot more) And has acted in the movie "Lets Kill Gandhi " . 

He had just got back to Bangalore after some grilling work . Also he had attended a couple of meetings and  auditions earlier that day so he thought the bright colors would make up for the drained out energy .(Brilliant isn't it) , this explained his shoes for me ,though it wasn't a conscious decision the shoes so clearly reflected his state of mind for the day.
