Elephants and some caves

I've been visiting Mumbai ever since I was a small girl ,however the Elephanta Caves was some thing I have never done . So on a recent visit just for some kicks decided to visit it , had nothing much to do and the ferry ride looked interesting . So hoped on to one and after like what seemed like an hour and half or so reached the caves didn't expect much but must say it's beautiful , a bunch of caves though badly maintained is quite a pretty sight . Later sat till what seemed like eternity in this lone restaurant that stands there and did Mumbai watching from the other side . 

P.S if you plan on visiting the place make sure you take the last ferry back because the light at that time makes everything look so beautiful. 

Temple Towns

The next pit stop on my road trip was Belur followed by Halebeedu more popular known as temple towns both the temples in the these towns have very similar architecture and it's painfully beautiful .On the first look these temples look like they have been built out of  a huge monolithic rock . The dictionary meaning of intricate could have well been defined after a visit to these places . The temple in Belur has a very Vintage Vibe as in modernization hasn't touched it yet however the Halebeedu temple has a pretty lake by the side with a small park along the sides of the temple . You can sit her the whole day with some music and life's good . 

P.S Both these places are surprisingly neat not a spec of dirt ,very impressive . Makes me want to live in another era .

FireFlies

I was quite sad thinking my sweaters and jackets will never see the real world till i got back to Bangalore but I'm quite glad that I can at-least use them during late evenings and early mornings here as it's getting pretty cold . However I was told Bangalore is kinda freezing and how I miss it . I was supposed to go there for the Fireflies music festival that's going to be happening on the 26th of November but after NH7 Weekender In Pune I don't have the energy for it . For all of you In Bangalore it's a must attend though . Look up for the fireflies ashram on google for more information 

P.S No shoes allowed inside considering it's a jain temple so that explains the minus the shoes part in the pictures 

On The NH 48

Had been meaning to put up pictures of my road trip I had been during Diwali. Some internet problems at first and pure procrastination is the reason I was absent from the blog. So here's the first set of pictures . This was what I did on the first day we went to Shravana Belagola . If your from Karnataka you'll definitely know of this place but for those otherwise , this place is famous for it's beautiful Jain Temple which houses a huge statute of Mahaveer a monolithic stone statue and is absolutely marvelous . Initially the plan was just a quick pit stop at this place ,the aura of the place was such  that it had to be enjoyed a little longer .

And Then I go And Spoil It All

Just got from an impromptu trip from Mumbai . The sad news is I lost all the pictures I took of me ,people ,random people/things .(Read) a stupid Picassa mistake.I know this will me make sad in the later part of my morning coz right now I'm too tired to be bothered .So until I find time to click new pictures which would only be next week end ,I've decided to dig into my Singapore archives as there were so many pictures to be posted and stories to be told.

Color Cordinated

The red pair of trousers was making too much of an appearance here so i decided it was time for the world to say hello to my new white jeans ,well new only only in terms of the blog .
Had a nice lazy day at home in Bangalore ,going through some home decor ideas which my place back in Pune is urgently in need of . I hate the fact that the place is so empty right now that it echos kind of fun initially but it's getting a little creepy now .I found tons of interesting things that can be done to spice up the house without having to empty my traveling funds,I'm thinking of posting a few here as well .All the things that can be done and pictures of whatever little I'm going to be doing.

P.S I'm wearing lace shoes , is wondering if I'm ever going to get over my lace love.

VO on the Roof

I'am back and must say a little sad  coz I was really hoping the vacation wouldn't have a conclusion.

However I do have a lot of pictures to share , In other exciting news I'am going to in Bangalore this long weekend cannot wait to see my dogs and all my favorite people.

These pictures are basically What-I-Wore the 3rd day when I took the city tour bus and went round and round for 5 hours , just didn't feel like getting off .

ClarkeQuay

One of my favorite places in Singapore without a debate has to be Clarke Quay /Boat Quay .Full of life and a place to be if your a food lover like me .Name any cuisine and it's on the stretch with an awesome view of the river on one side to the financial hub buildings on the other and to it add some gigantic vintage hotels . Have been here every single night exploring dinner options .Now that I've to get ready in terms of packing since my 10 day vacation is coming to an end tomorrow ,I'am already missing the place and all the hullabaloo.

Along the Beach

Had to cut short my trip and come back to deal with some urgent matters .If all goes well, will be back in Gokarna first week of Feb. So many interesting people to meet places to explore cultures to adapt and learn cannot wait to be back already 

Maxi Skirt

Maxi skirts and "The Beach" looked like such an ideal combination in my head.Swooshing around in a long chiffon maxi skirt all day long on the sands  was so scenic in the video i created inside my head.However its"Clothed Much" according to Gokarna standards was something i soon realized, did it anyways and lived out my dream as dramatic as it may sound .
