Saturday ritual

It's been a while since i dusted my camera , absolutely randoms shots of what i wore yesterday, Pune debut .This whole process in Bangalore used to be so much fun though half the time i would land up bickering like a first grader( this one time i'am very sure i was super close to pulling hair pinching and running away) with who ever was clicking pictures for me coz they wouldn't do telepathy so no mind reading happens hence pictures in my head don't transfer as results on my LCD screen .There were times when  some super funny things would happen as well. Now i really appreciate all the the help i had ,some from super awesome friends at times  mum and did my best to bully my brother as well basically anybody who would put up with all my tantrum throwing .

P.S spotted my first spec of grey so depressing ,thought i had to be at-least a 160 for that

Dhothi & Suspenders

A dated picture of my Dhothi&Suspenders was for some reason in hiding. Must be at-least a couple of months old.Going through some old pictures reminds me of all the stories i have lived through the blog, every single post that has had me in the middle of the road clicking pictures has a story behind it. Taking pictures with mum or 2 of my closest friends is something I'm going to terribly miss while in Pune .

During this particular shoot i was so sure i would be eaten up by the mud beneath, it was monstrous then got followed by some creeps on the bike and when we decided to run away our vehicle got stuck in the all the slush. So that was that for the day.

Some Where Over The Rainbow

Well, I see

For me and you
And i think to myself
Oh what a wonderful world

This is one of the paragraphs from a favorite song of mine "Some where over the rainbow" .I think this should  be the new world peace song .

Dhothi In Trousers

If there is one place i want to bugler then it's definitely got to be a pet store and set all those  precious little ones free specially the birds .The in-humane sight of humans watching birds inside a cage and going "aww so cute" , The next person i catch saying that will be forced inside the cage and i will go " Aww so cute ".

I know this is absolutely misplaced here in this blog, but there is this new pet store thats opened in the locality and i find the sight so cruel . Specially when i see parents pointing at the animals in the cage and go "oh look at them aren't they cute " instead of telling them thats its cruel to be treating animals like that .
As horrible as this may sound please wack the first kid you see chucking a stone at the friendly neighborhood dog .
Anyways Moving On

Do the Stripes

Its always a love hate relationship with stripes. You wear them correctly thanks to all the optical illusions they create slender, slim and tall can be achieved in minutes . A little mistake would make you go  eeyeks , would wish there never will be a mirror around .
Stripes can be termed classic as they never have been called "Last season ". It's always been around.

Jump Suit it UP

It was a day of Packages today , One from Pantaloons and the other from Karishma .
While browsing some random sites i came across Pantaloons site , if you shop online in there site you get an additional  15% discount on what's normally available in the retail shop. These trousers are my first online purchase from an Indian Site .

The very sweet Karishma sent the Vest over , well i haven't even thanked her properly for this . Most of you already know her from her blog "I'm too sexy for my shirt" . I'm loving how i don't have to move an Inch to buy anything .Click of a button and a phone call does it. Thanks Karishma .

Dhothi Trousers

Going through an extremely black and paranoid phase right now. It will take me a while to post personal pictures

Meanwhile lets meet Latha Naidu you have already met her sister HERE and HERE. She was extremely sweet enough to take time of while having some fun with friends , click pictures and send it over .
As usual she was impeccably styled and looked as gorgeous.

These trousers are available at 4th block Jayanagar complex .I don't know which shop exactly . It costs about 300-350 Rs ,depends on how good you are at bargaining .

When Latha sent me these pictures about 2 weeks ago and told me where to find them. The first thing i did was marched down to Jayanagar and bought them .

The new trouser trend (supposedly )

I am normally a huge fan of trousers that are a little weird .While browsing the street style blogs i came across these trousers , which  caught my attention immediately( Stockholm  street style ).I have drawn a lot of inspiration from this particular  blog but  I can honestly say i loathe the wide leg /tight leg/i don't know what its meant to be trousers , They are marked to be the next big thing apparently .Aren't they ruining her body image .Or is it just me ?

What do you guys think ? should this trend stay or should they be banished and hung immediately ?

Jodhpurs from Jodhpur

While on a holiday i love shopping for local specialities. While in Jodhpur went hunting for the now famous Jodhpur trousers( I know every single shop in the Clock Tower market ) .Initially the local merchants were really surprised why a girl wanted to buy men's trousers(Its predominantly worn by men).Hence all the designs i saw were designed for men.Just when i was about give up my search i ran into a local designer (Also a student of NIFT he claimed) . Finally i thought my hunt would be fruitful .However the design i found was a mere cousin of the originals, well that did not stop me from buying it because i loved it anyways and its so apt to save yourself from the torture of jeans during summer.
