Knotted

My red wayfarers finally arrived . I bought it on E -Bay .Was a little skeptical about buying these wayfarers without the case ,since it was a UK based shop i didn't know if they will arrive in one piece . Almost 3 weeks were up with no signs of these babies,  i thought decent amount of money had bee poured down the drain . Was pretty surprised to see them intact inside since the packaging was horrid . Anyhoo now it's become my trademark . We are inseparable .

Along Came A Jean-Y

My association with bangs go way back to the 3rd grade . My mother spoke me into it back then .She used to cut my hair for the longest period .As i grew up i insisted on visiting those fancy hence we come with a heavy price tag salons . 2 weeks ago i went into this reputed salon just for some bangs ,however walked out looking like Alpha Alpha from The Little Rascals oh and guess what it  looks good only on him , yeah i didn't know that already .May be i should have just stuck to my mom . I realized i din't  understand my hairdresser and he didn't  get  me .So now i need at least 20 minutes with the unruly bangs and bazillion bobby pins.  .

Malgudi Days

The minute i saw this house it reminded me of the serial Malgudi days. Houses like these are a rare sight these days.So colonial in nature , reminder of a by gone era, Vintage is it ? I wanted to sit there for a while sipping on some chai on the porch.

Meet some friends for a fun evening and for a change i was clicking the pictures.I loved what Anjali wore so simple yet so chic. She's an architect so it was very natural for us to click here isn't it ? The ring and the bag is from China. The rest is from namma Bengalure.

Want To Wear dresses

While putting up this post the song "You make me wanna wear dresses" by Lisa Germano was playing at the back of my head constantly."It feels so good in there Much much safer in your castle" . Oh yes you make me feel so fragile. Now I cannot stop singing it.

The weather in Bangalore has been perfect for a while now.So got to accessorize with scarfs which was hidden until now ,Does that mean the monsoons are finally here ,oh i hope so .I love the rains ,smell of fresh air ,wet mud ,Masala Chai hmmmm cannot wait .

Ripping in Style

A couple of  months ago was wandering around Vintage shops on E-Bay. Came across a really good shop which had a lot of skirts, not the regular kinds . I bought a balloon skirt and an origami skirt. The skirts are about 20 years old.Since all good things come with a price tag , these  had a hefty one as well .I paid about 150 AuD for both. I never pay that much for clothes ,normally if like something thats very expensive i get a similar kind made .But this was irresistible.

I am planning on replicating these skirts at affordable prices(Thrift thesis i say !) and different  colors .Interested ?In the comments leave your mail Id and the skirt your interested in . I will get back to you with details.

Summer Rains

Its been pouring so heavily here in Bangalore .Oh but i am not complaining ,such a relief from the excessive sun.Nothing like the smell of fresh rains . So i had to get out and enjoy the weather gods gift .

This top is another gift from my favorite blogger Dusk Devi .Ever since i have been logger heads about what to team it up with .On a recent visit to splash, these high-waist trousers was love at first sight and i knew it was a perfect match.

The Tuchi Inspiration

Recently on the street style blog Wear About India ,My favorite and one of the very few ,that documents street style in India, came across a post about Tuchi,a couple of girls who come up with super cool designs. One of the deigns was this simple plain neat cut white dress , so fell in love with the dress that i decided to get it tailored .
