The most difficult part about blogging for me is clicking pictures on the road, more so because it is so difficult to find an empty lane in India! And yes, taking pictures is a very exciting affair here, so when people spot me on the road getting clicked, everyone's curiousity is aroused. A few curious onlookers even wanted to know why i was so self obsessed :-)
Is it just me or do you guys out there face something similar ?
White tee: Delhi (Sarojni Market)
Shoes: London(Gift from a friend)

ReplyDeletecheers, Jesa

ReplyDeleteoh.. you should see the look i get whenever i wear something else other that a t-shirt and jeans.. even when i am not clicking pictures.. they are always looking at me with 'what the hell is she wearing' kind of expression.
Love your necklace!
ReplyDeleteloved the wall behind and the whites and green on you :)
ReplyDeleteJust nod wisely, wave your hand and say; "it's okay. I'm a blogger."
ReplyDelete...like how a Jedi Master calms an excited crowd :D
I gave up caring what others [negatively] think of me a long time ago.
Now to more important things.... you are so GAWgeous!! Love the outfit, the setting too and of course, those pants are just genius!
Ah dusk ! if i have to brighten up my day all i need to do is read your comments :-)

ReplyDeleteJodhpurs
Where did u get these trousers made from IN Delhi??
ReplyDeleteTruly awesome!!!
is that your DIY jodhpurs? You look very pretty in your very simple outfit. love yre beautiful smile..
ReplyDeleteLove your trousers! And that necklace is great too! I've never taken pictures outside (except in my own garden) I'm afraid! Wouldn't feel comfortable but I should give it a try cause my photos are always the same and would like to have some different settings.
ReplyDeleteDude! thats some really smart stuff... excellent.
ReplyDeleteOkay I can see what that greem neck thingie is doing to your white...and I am nighty glad I picked up some green last saturday !
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking of teaming it with a white kurta like shirt I'd designed that has a lil more width at its lower line and can be worn with a belt along with cool blue leggings or light mauve knee length harem/balloon pants. YOu think that'll work?
I love what have done to your dads pants..chic!
And hey, I will send you some picks in sometime....after this weekend girls party. Thnx for asking, again!
I love ur cute wall background!! I have never been a big fan of jodhpur pants but u totally rock them - I am going to give it a second chance:-) ur purse is adorable but it does look *cough* teeny weeny *cough* in proportion, pls. dont get mad:-)
ReplyDeleteoh, I forgot to sey u look very impish in the second last picture!! what mischievous thoughts are u thinking:-)
ReplyDeleteCindrella : if it has a little width towards the end , hmm i am thinking blue leggings , but again if your planning on teaming it with a belt ,knee length Harem pants would look great as well , Cannot wait to see the pictures :-)
ReplyDeleteSonali : no no not at all :) keep those inputs coming
ReplyDeleteIts a coin purse but fits a little more like cards and my phone also the trouser has huge pockets , that took care of the utility part :)
About the second picture, Had just got whistled by a passer by , hope that explains it :-)
Lovely look!! :) :) :) And yeahp i face the same problem!! I love clicking pics with the clothes i wear on roads cuz i mix and match and all that but when my frnds and me take pics everyone looks as tho we've landed from mars and stuff!! its crap!! :P ahahah!!

ReplyDeleteAh ! you must visit Bangalore , you will like it i am sure :)
ReplyDeleteSelf obsessed? LOL! Ignore them sis :) In some ways that is what makes it more fun isn't it? People are eternally curious about others there ...
ReplyDeleteShould have told them you are a model ;) autograph requests would have come then :D
OMG, I get those stares too that's why I don't shoot out so much. But don't mind them, you're young and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the necklace, such a perfect accessory to brighten this ensemble. xoxo
thanks for the compliment
ReplyDeleteyour look is always cool
Yup! I know just what you mean. I get super insecure because I don't want people to think I'm a tourist in my own neighborhood. So I don't take nearly as many photos as I want to. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteStill loving these trousers! And the shoes are so pretty! I wanna raid your shoe closet. I can’t comment on taking pics in the street because I take all mine indoors. It will be interesting over the summer when I am in Australia and England and taking pictures in public. I think I might be too shy.
ReplyDeletelovedddddddddddddddda way u accesorize urself...chic chic Bravo....And merci do visit ma blog fr more updates....

ReplyDeleteI like! You look so thin here.
ReplyDeleteAnd yea that happens with me too.

I really wish I could sew like you! I can't believe how lovely the clothes you make are. I am so awkward in photos that I just have my mom or boyfriend take my pic and make it look like we are tourists or something.
ReplyDelete... it may not be the widest though it the best grin u have ever posted... not to mention it is infectious... and as for the wistle... well... "You asked for it!" ... may ur Tea & Coffee pots remain full... amen!

ReplyDeleteIt's always very difficult to make some photographs in the street, because you do not feel well when people look at you as if you were just a turist
You're right about taking photos in the street.

ReplyDeleteLove your trousers...cant believe yoo made it yourself...wish i had the skill and the patience to sew too...muahh...
ReplyDeleteThat pants is amazing on you! Great job on making it. Ah, i always feel self conscious too that's why i always ask a friend to take my picture if it's an outdoor shoot, that way i can pretend i'm a tourist or some new international student in town :)

Hey january girl :) than you :) Ah yes i made them myself with my dads old trousers ,I'm planning on putting up a tutorial one of these days :) hope that would be helpful
ReplyDeleteAm researching the history of the Jodhpur trouser/breech, am very interested in the pair you created from the design of an old pair belonging to your father. Would you be so kind as to post a good image of these fashion jodhpurs made by you with as much of your expertise you care to offer in text - the more detailed the better, especially on the forerunner of the style - to the Wikipedia article "Jodhpurs", section "Fashion influence". Please give full credit to yourself as designer/creator in the image caption. Many thanks. Peter, pulsworthy@live.co.uk
