Blooming Dales

The most difficult part about blogging for me is clicking pictures on the road, more so because it is so difficult to find an empty lane in India! And yes, taking  pictures  is a very exciting affair here, so when people spot me on the road getting clicked, everyone's curiousity is aroused. A few curious onlookers even wanted to know why i  was so self obsessed :-)

Is it just me or do you guys out there face something similar ?

  6. Just nod wisely, wave your hand and say; "it's okay. I'm a blogger."
...like how a Jedi Master calms an excited crowd :D

I gave up caring what others [negatively] think of me a long time ago.

Now to more important things.... you are so GAWgeous!! Love the outfit, the setting too and of course, those pants are just genius!

  13. Love your trousers! And that necklace is great too! I've never taken pictures outside (except in my own garden) I'm afraid! Wouldn't feel comfortable but I should give it a try cause my photos are always the same and would like to have some different settings.

  15. Okay I can see what that greem neck thingie is doing to your white...and I am nighty glad I picked up some green last saturday !

I have been thinking of teaming it with a white kurta like shirt I'd designed that has a lil more width at its lower line and can be worn with a belt along with cool blue leggings or light mauve knee length harem/balloon pants. YOu think that'll work?

I love what have done to your dads pants..chic!

And hey, I will send you some picks in sometime....after this weekend girls party. Thnx for asking, again!

  18. Cindrella : if it has a little width towards the end , hmm i am thinking blue leggings , but again if your planning on teaming it with a belt ,knee length Harem pants would look great as well , Cannot wait to see the pictures :-)

  28. OMG, I get those stares too that's why I don't shoot out so much. But don't mind them, you're young and beautiful.

I love the necklace, such a perfect accessory to brighten this ensemble. xoxo

  29. thanks for the compliment
    your look is always cool

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yup! I know just what you mean. I get super insecure because I don't want people to think I'm a tourist in my own neighborhood. So I don't take nearly as many photos as I want to. Sigh...

  31. Still loving these trousers! And the shoes are so pretty! I wanna raid your shoe closet. I can’t comment on taking pics in the street because I take all mine indoors. It will be interesting over the summer when I am in Australia and England and taking pictures in public. I think I might be too shy.

It's always very difficult to make some photographs in the street, because you do not feel well when people look at you as if you were just a turist

Am researching the history of the Jodhpur trouser/breech, am very interested in the pair you created from the design of an old pair belonging to your father. Would you be so kind as to post a good image of these fashion jodhpurs made by you with as much of your expertise you care to offer in text - the more detailed the better, especially on the forerunner of the style - to the Wikipedia article "Jodhpurs", section "Fashion influence". Please give full credit to yourself as designer/creator in the image caption. Many thanks. Peter, pulsworthy@live.co.uk
